Hartoms Waterjet Cutting and profiling offers sub contract waterjet cutting services to the UK. With over 50 years of experience in the manufacturing industries and the latest technologies in waterjet cutting Hartoms is well equipped to cope with any of your waterjet cutting enquiries. Based in Borehamwood, south Hertfordshire we are ideally located within easy reach of the A1, M25 and M1.
Our ByJet Flex 4030 3D Waterjet machine
- Can retrofit up to two 3D cutting heads, each with a continuous height sensor
- 4M x 3M Cutting area
- Material cutting height of 250mm, greater can be achieved if required
- High parts production through reliable high-pressure technology
- Repeatability to 0.025mm
- Most resistant materials can be cut, without a heat effected edge

Our Services
Abrasive Cutting
Abrasive waterjet cutting uses a ultra-high pressure jet of water which Is mixed with garnet to create a cutting stream. The water acts as a carrier for the abrasive, it is the abrasive which performs the cutting.
Non-Abrasive Cutting
We offer pure water cutting for materials such as cork, rubber and silicone. With Non-Abrasive waterjet cutting the workpiece is kept free from the ingress of particles.
2D and 3D Parts
We can cut beveled edges with slopes of up to 45 degrees and straight edges with high efficiency: 3D cutting technology allows us to convert from 2D to 3D on the flexible machine platform at any time.
Complex Shape Cutting
Using the latest 3D cutting & Nesting software, we are able to produce complex shapes in 3D and 2D. The nesting software reduces the amount of waste material, maximising the efficiency of cut.
